This week’s image of the week is from Sinead Onora Kennedy’s “Most Promising Graduate Award 2014” winning exhibition Cloy for Talbot Gallery.
Coming from a background in fashion, Kennedy’s sculptural work explores notions of self-perception, touching on themes such as anxiety, distorted body image, and identity. Kennedy is interested in the inseparable connection between food and the body and the often irrational thought processes associated with it.
Sinead Onora Kennedy will be in conversation with artist Amanda Coogan on June 14th at 12pm. The exhibition ‘Cloy’ continues until 27th June. www.talbotgallery.com
