Rivane Neuenschwander is opening tonight at IMMA – New Galleries, this Brazilian conceptualist much lauded abroad and little known here, is well worth a look and should provide a dynamic format for the exhibition space at IMMA. First Love, 2005 employs a police sketch artist to produce a portrait in response to the participants remembrances of that love, each image will then adorn the walls of the gallery. Also opening tonight is Apertures & Anxieties in the RHA which begins the new trend in Art-Science collaborations of which we shall be seeing much more of in 2012, it being the year of Science in Dublin. For those of you that haven’t been yet, RUA RED also have their Winter Show on and are showcasing some really interesting new painters. More on this in trends.
